Development Weeks

We are often asked if we offer further practice weeks for students wishing to sail with an instructor between each RYA level of course. These development weeks are suitable for Competent Crews heading towards RYA Day Skipper or Day Skippers wanting more practice to feel confident chartering yachts or before partaking in further courses with longer passages.

6 days

INSTRUCTOR – STUDENT RATIO

Minimum 2, maximum 4 students to 1 Instructor and boat.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Previous RYA Course from Competent Crew upwards

IS THERE AN END OF COURSE ASSESSMENT?

No. The Instructor runs through each of the modules of the course ensuring that you understand each as you progress.

COURSE COST

The course costs £990 per person (with a £90 reduction for final balances paid in cash) and includes:

• Accommodation on board
• Bedding
• Towels
• Safety equipment
• Coaching
  Not Included: 
• Transit Log & Fuel (compulsory) £280 per boat shared between students
• Food & drink
• Travel to/from venue
• Turkish visa if required
• Instructors food and drink (to be provided at students expense)

• Mooring techniques
• Better sailing and sail planning for different weather conditions

• Night sailing
