RYA Start Yachting
Sailing is it for me?
Our RYA Start Yachting course is aimed at the complete novice who would like to try sailing for the first time before signing up to do RYA Competent Crew or something similar. This two day course is run by friendly instructors who understand you may be apprehensive. The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment and we are sure you will not want to leave at the end of the course.
COURSE DURATION
2 days from 9am to 5pm
INSTRUCTOR – STUDENT RATIO
Minimum 2, maximum 4 students to 1 Instructor and boat.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
No prior boating experience is necessary.
IS THERE AN END OF COURSE ASSESSMENT?
No. The Instructor runs through each of the modules of the course ensuring that you understand each as you progress.
COURSE COST
The course costs £300 per person and includes:
- One nights accommodation on board
- Bedding
- Towels
- Safety equipment
- Fuel
- Tuition
- RYA logbook & Certification
Not included:
- Transit Log (compulsory) £120 per boat shared between students
- Food & Drink
- Travel to/from venue
- Turkish visa if required
- Instructors Food & Drink (to be provided at students expense)
